McCain's Meltdown on the Economy

Here's a great article to read on your break today: http://www.realclearpolitics.com/articles/2008/09/mccain_and_the_meltdown.html.

The article reveals how weak McCain is on the economy, and how he essentially outsourced his economic plan to a team of advisers that is certain to carry forward the policies of Bush/Cheney.

McCain could have pulled off a real "maverick" move by selecting a Vice Presidential running mate who was strong on the economy. Instead, he was reckless and picked someone with even less experience than he has on economic issues.

Despite McCain's recent theme of "change" that he has been stumping about, he does not stand for the right kind of change. And Obama needs to drive this home by being specific about the kind of change he is serious about. Here is your window, Obama--go for it!

The Straight Talk Express has been replaced by the Neocon Spin Cycle, which brought you all the falsehoods of the past several weeks.

To paraphrase Bill Hicks, don't be fooled by the Great Economic Distraction. We've already had enough with the Great Iraq War Distraction. And if you watch that video, keep in mind that this was about the First Iraq War...

The more things change, the more they stay the same.
